- How does your restoration process work?
- We use a dust-free method that cleans and conditions the floor, then applies a new finish in one day. No heavy sanding, so there’s no dust or multi-day disruption. Most jobs are done in five to six hours.
- How long does a typical job take?
- From start to finish, most residential projects are completed in a single day—often within five to six hours. You can usually walk on the floors the same evening.
- What finish options do I have?
- You can choose from satin, semi-gloss, or gloss. Satin is the most popular for its ease of care and how it hides minor wear. All sheens are the same price.
- Is it really dust-free?
- Yes. We don’t do traditional sanding. Our process uses cleaning and light mechanical prep, so you won’t get the dust and mess that come with a full refinish.
- How long will the new finish last?
- With normal care and the cleaning products we recommend, the finish can last for years. We stand behind our work for one year; the products we use carry longer warranties.
- Do I need to move furniture?
- Yes. Everything that sits on the floor we’re treating needs to be moved before we start. We can help with smaller items for an extra fee, or we can point you to movers we’ve worked with.
- When can I walk on the floors?
- You can walk on them within a few hours of completion. We recommend socks only for the first 24 hours and limiting pet traffic so the finish can cure. Full cure is about 30 days.
- Will there be a strong smell?
- Our finishes are low-odor and we don’t use high-VOC products. Most customers are comfortable staying in the home during and after the job.
- What does it cost?
- Pricing is based on square footage and condition. We give you a clear, upfront quote—no hidden fees. In many cases, our process costs less than half of a full refinish.
